a 62 area layout seems unlikely to exist, at least for methods building from the left, as there is one excess atom after the construction of each monomer and two excess hexes are needed for the sliding movement, which leaves 3 area outside of the 60 area sliding space. using a static piston for the sliding movement can reduce this, but from my testing there were no viable layouts were the reach of the piston was sufficient.
